Frequently Asked Question
Q: Can my kid join the class
A: Yes!
-
Kids under 10 must join with a guardian who also signs up.
-
Kids under 7 can’t join Spin and Throw class, but they’re welcome in Roll & Form, Air-Dry Clay, and Painting classes.
We love helping kids get creative with clay!
Q: Why isn’t firing included in some of your classes?
A: Great question! Here’s why:
-
We offer unlimited clay so students can explore freely and learn more—no pressure to limit their creativity.
-
Not everyone wants to fire their pieces, so we keep it flexible and let you decide.
-
It’s better for the environment—when firing is optional, we reduce waste from pieces that are left behind.
Create more. Fire when it matters. Be kind to the earth.
Q: Why is there only a 10-minute late policy for classes?
A:
Because once the teacher starts the demonstration, it’s hard to repeat it—they need to focus on helping the rest of the class.
Private group classes? You can arrive late, but the class will still end at the scheduled time—no extra minutes added. We want everyone to get the full experience, so arriving on time is key!
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A:
Yes, we do! We can ship your ceramics overseas—shipping rates vary by country.
Just let us know your location, and we’ll provide the best option for you!
Q: How long do you keep finished pottery pieces?
A:
-
We keep your final creations for 1 month from the date they’re finished.
-
Due to limited storage space, we can’t hold onto them forever.
-
If we don’t hear back from you within a month, your pieces may be donated.
-
Need more time? Just let us know—we’re happy to arrange shipping or hold your work with a confirmed pickup date.
Q: Why does it take 2–4 weeks to finish my ceramic piece?
A:
Pottery takes time!
Each piece goes through several stages—shaping, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. We also work through a queue to ensure quality and fairness for all students.
